Monday, May 22nd, 2023
After breakfast, we will start our full day Cappadocia tour. First, we will stop in Esentepe, which has the most beautiful view of the region. This is one of the places where the geological formation of the region can be observed best. Afterwards, we will visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, which was included to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. Here we will be able to learn about the monastic life of the Middle Ages, see churches, murals, dormitories, kitchens and refrectories.
After the museum tour, we will go to Avanos, established by the Hitites 3500 years ago on the banks of the Kızılırmak River for it’s high quality clay. Here we will visit the pottery workshop of Master Galip, who is on the UNESCO Living Human Treasure list.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will go to Paşabağı Open Air Museum and see the most beautiful Fairy Chimneys of the region. The last visit of the day will be to Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley) where we will find interesting rock formations.

Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023
After breakfast, we will start our tour. Our first stop will be at Derinkuyu Museum, which is the largest Underground City in the region. We will see the narrow tunnels, storage rooms, wineries in this structure, which has thousands of years of history and was dug underground for defensive purposes.
In the second part of our tour, we will visit the Ihlara Valley, which is the most beautiful of the many valleys in the region. We will visit the rock churches along the 4-kilometer valley and watch the beautiful views along the Melendiz River.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the last part of our trip, we will visit the Selime Monastery which is carved into a big rock block.

After returning to our hotel and resting, we will go to Barbarian Mediaval Tavern for dinner. We will have a farewell dinner in this rock-carved venue decorated with medieval artifacts.

Wednesday, May 24th, 2023
After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel. In the first part of our tour, we will go to Ortahisar, to see one of the most interesting rock structures of the region. Then we will go to Sinasos (Mustafapaşa), an old Roman-Greek town. We will wander around its beautiful streets with well-restored buildings which has many stories.
We will transfer to the airport after free time in Ürgüp, formerly known as Prokopi…
